INTERIOR DESIGNER

MARILYN CROCKETT

is an Interior Designer based in Abilene, TX. She services in small to full scale remodels, and style selections with an eye for timeless design and a love for blue and white. She attended Abilene Christian University and graduated in 2020 in Art and Science with a degree in interior design and a minor in business administration. She is native to Texas, speaking 2 languages that have influenced her life.


Marilyn has worked as an interior designer for 4 years. She believes inspiration is everywhere, and you simply must seek the beauty that lays there. Marilyn is an interior designer for OakStreet Shoppe- a brick and mortar shoppe in Abilene, TX. She works with some of the best women in town and loves seeing new creativity be born in the office. On top of interiors, she is also an occasional textile designer for fabrics and wallpapers.

“Old things inspire me. It tells the story of the creators before us, and I take those elements into my designs to make them beautiful again”.

When she's not designing, Marilyn is photographing her travels as she captures new inspiration to bring home with her, reading about old architecture styles, and of course staying on top of her love of fashion. Marilyn is married to her high school sweetheart, Seth (an often voluntold styling husband) and has one spoiled dog.
